Lots of talk about the differences between Xeon Processors and I7 processors, generally I see industry standard from places like HP and Dell tend to lean towards Xeon for the RAM Support and MultiCores. I have spent a fair few days looking around at specifications, the differences between graphics cards and processors, RAID Configuarations etc. I have had an Alienware mobile solution for some time now and we are in the process of updating a Desktop / Workstation Solution.
Was a Windows guy (domestic) for many years before turning to Mac 5 years ago, started a new role a while back that had me editing videos in Windows again. I am reasonably new to this, but not a total computer newbie. Firstly im new to the forum so hello and thank you for allowing me to join.
